Pioneer
Tamil Nadu, a pioneer in the Textile sector, proudly stands as the first state to launch a Mega Textile Park under the PM Mitra scheme. The park is strategically located in E. Kumaralingapuram village within Virudhunagar district, encompassing an expansive 1052 acres of land. The project carries an estimated cost of Rs. 2,000 crores and it is anticipated to attract a remarkable investment of Rs. 19,000 crores. Furthermore, this endeavour is projected to generate employment opportunities for over 2 lakh individuals, significantly contributing to the state's economic development.

The inauguration of the PM Mitra Park on 22nd March 2023, in Chennai marked a momentous occasion, with the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and the Hon'ble Union Textiles Minister jointly launching this transformative venture. The State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu (SIPCOT) assumes the pivotal role of master developer for this monumental project. This partnership reflects the State Government's dedication to fostering industrial growth and creating a conducive environment for investment.
